Laying the Groundwork

Now that we've enjoyed our appetizers, salad, & uhm.. dessert, it's time to bring out the big guns & lay the foundation for our main course.
Blackberry Balsamic Reduction
This recipe is from the true Chef of the house (R), & don't let the simple ingredients fool you, because your taste buds are about to fall head-over-heels goo-goo in love. Be aware that once this happens, you can never go back, & it's possible that you will pine for it, pen sappy love songs, & leave blubbering messages for it when you have had too much to drink.

  1. Hi! Thanks for the recipe....just a quick question for you...do you have any suggestions on what to serve this on? Dessert or poultry is what I was thinking. Blackberries are my dad's favourite, so I would love to make something for him with this. Thanks!

  2. Hi Jenn! This goes well with any rich fish or meat. R has it on steak or lamb, I like it on salmon or seared ahi. Let me know if you try it on a dessert - great idea!
